Ulthera

Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared procedure to non-invasively lift the eyebrows, neck, under-chin, and improve dรฉcolletage lines and wrinkles!

This FDA approved procedure stimulates the deep structural support layers of the skin. This stimulation targets facial tissue including those typically targeted in a surgical facelift. It does this without disturbing the surface of the skin. Ultherapy is also the only non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses focused ultrasound to stimulate the growth of new collagen deep within the skin. As we age, collagen breaks down which results in loss of skin strength and elasticity. Ulthera helps to produce new collagen growth with proven clinical results and patient satisfaction. The production of new collagen occurs over time, so results can become more apparent over 3 to 6 months.

The treatment takes about an hour for most patients and there is no downtime. In most cases 1 treatment is all that is needed. Unlike lasers, which work from the outside-in, Ultherapy moves beyond the surface of the skin, to target the deep, structural skin tissues where collagen is found. Ultherapy stimulates the deep structural support layers of the skin. The stimulation targets facial tissue including those typically focused on in a surgical facelift. It does this without disturbing the surface of the skin.

It is the only procedure to use ultrasound imaging, which allows our expert technician to actually see the layers of the tissue being targeted during the treatment and ensure the energy is deposited precisely where it will be most effective. Ultherapy is the only proven treatment to lift and tighten skin.

Ultherapy tightens loose skin, reduces the look of deep wrinkles, and treats many neckline issues, including skin laxity (drooping or sagging), howling-, turkey neck, and rosacea. The treatment provides you with instant results that continue to improve for up to six months. The results can last for up to two years.

      What Areas Can Be Treated?

Areas that can be treated with Ulthera include full face and full neck, but also specialized areas including brows, upper lip, or lower face among others.

How Often Should I Do This Treatment?

In most cases, one treatment is all that is needed. Results are visible immediately, but will improve and become apparent over time.

How Do I Prepare for This Treatment?

Please arrive at your appointment with a clean face. Be mindful that this treatment, while innovative, may be slightly painful. You may take medication for pain management prior to your appointment. Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) is available at the clinic for use should you desire.

      Is There Downtime?

There is no downtime with our Ultherapy treatments for the most part. Some patients can experience mild redness post-treatment that subsides on its own within hours. Some patients may also experience slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch, but these are mild and temporary in nature.

Other, less common post-procedural effects may include temporary bruising or numbness on small areas of skin. As with any medical procedure, speak with your provider about what to expect following your Ultherapy treatment.

      Post-Care Recommendations:

Always wear sunscreen with SPF30 or higher following a treatment (even in the winter months). Do not apply make-up for at least 4 hours. Do not exfoliate for a minimum 48 hours after treatment. Other specified instructions will be given at appointment.
